who we are
Fundraising Initiatives is a charity-owned professional fundraising organization headquartered in the United Kingdom. With offices in seven countries around the world, Fundraising Initiatives is dedicated to assisting charities in raising needed dollars by securing committed charity supporters who have agreed to make on-going monthly donations by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) from their bank account or by credit card authorization. The Fundraising Initiatives community fundraising program is managed and administered in Canada (on behalf of Canadian charities) by Fundraising Initiatives Inc.
The Fundraising Initiatives community fundraising program is different from others in that it only seeks out donors who will make long-term monthly pledges or are willing to make a one-off donation. It does not allow for cash donations as all monthly pledges are made through either electronic funds transfer, pre-authorized credit card transactions or by cheque and all funds are paid directly to the charity from the donor. This adds to the credibility of our work on behalf of the charities and provides the charity with a long-term revenue stream.
